Horhee (Horsies)

Seth was very excited to find Daddy was home this morning.  Jon had planned on getting to work on a vehicle, but Seth had other ideas.

After breakfast, we went outside to play.  Jon and Seth noticed that the horses were standing by the fence.  "Horhee, horhee, horhee!" Seth yelled as he did his little hop/run towards the fence.  We were able to pet them, which Seth thought was great fun, until one decided to taste his shoe!

Seth started to wander off and we thought it might be a good idea to show him that apples come from a tree, not a bag in the refrigerator.  "Bapple, bapple!"  Jon held Seth up to pick his own apple. After pulling for all his worth, he hollered, "I got it!" and then promptly dropped it.  Jon and I picked a few apples to feed to the horses while Seth started eating his apple from the stem down.  After watching the horses try to eat the apples, Seth backed up.  He must have remembered the one that tried to eat his shoe!  He wasn't going to lose that apple!
